Established in 2020, The Spotted Orchid is a Cleveland-based florist, specifically in Valley View, specializing in modern and unique floral arrangements. Our creations add a touch of artistry to weddings, funerals, and all of life's special moments. We deliver throughout the greater Cleveland and Akron areas.
Wedding Florals

Full Floral Planning & Design
With our full floral service, we provide refined tablescapes, intimate ceremony settings, venue styling, unique candle decor, small to large installations, and romantic bridal party flowers. A full floral service includes delivery, setup, and strike/cleanup after your event. Working together with you, we collaborate and design each wedding so it is a true reflection of you while creating a memorable, joyful experience. We value artistry and personalized attention to capture your vision for your big day! For these larger events (usually 100 to 400 guests), the floral investments typically range from $5,000 - $15,000+ (before taxes) and are dependent on size, vision, and location. Taller centerpieces, complex installs, and large arches are commonly requested design items. Micro Weddings
We have no minimum for our small, intimate weddings. This is ideal for couples who need beautiful, personalized flowers for a simple ceremony with smaller floral decor, centerpieces, candles, or a minimalist backdrop. Typically, these investments are for couples planning a wedding of less than 75 guests. We value artistry and personalized attention to capture your vision for your big day! Investments for these events typically range from $1,000-$3,000 (before taxes) and are dependent on the size, vision, and location. Consultation...

Congratulations as you prepare for your special event!
Here at The Spotted Orchid, we are a full-service, personalized florist that is deeply committed to you and your special day. Because The Spotted Orchid is a home studio, we meet by appointment only. We offer complimentary consultations with prospective clients in a variety of ways. Initially, we recommend a face-to-face meeting or a zoom call. The initial consultation is to meet you and to understand your vision for your dream day. Please feel free to come with inspiration photos from Pinterest or Instagram. Discussing your floral budget will be helpful to realize your vision. If you are planning a substantial floral investment, we are glad to meet you at your venue to discuss large installations/custom designs to make your event unique.

Mini-Proposal...

We excitedly prepare a mini-proposal/design estimate for your big day: inspirational photos & focal flowers to complement your vision! If you decide to book, we'll send you a contract and request a non-refundable retainer. Then you--and only you--are booked for that weekend!

Design...
​
After we receive the signed contract and retainer, we schedule an in-person design meeting about 3-4 months prior to your event. Our goal is to foster a great working relationship with collaborative dialogue and trust between client and florist. Flowers are ordered one month before your event, and that is when the final balance is due.

Event Countdown...
​
Two to three weeks before your event, we schedule a last minute check in. This allows us to confirm the final details: the timeline for your event, guest numbers, tables and layout, any last-minute add-ons, and any other special details you need to share. If any floral additions are made, that balance will be due. Flowers are ordered once the balance is paid in full.

Day of Your Event and More...

Our “full-service” floral business limits the number of weddings we take on each year to ensure that we can focus on the specifics of your special event. We allow plenty of time to arrive at your venue and deliver on our customized design proposal—delivering our carefully-crafted blooms, setting up, providing on-site floral installations with extra staff members, checking off each detail and, ultimately, being present with our team at the end for the breakdown or “strike.” This is when we collect all rental items and take down large installations and clean up. This makes for a very long day for our team members and me, however, by hiring our team you and your entourage have the freedom to enjoy the special day–to be present in the moment–while allowing us to work behind the scenes and tending to the various details.
